Paris, the City of Lights, will play host to the 28th IFSCC Congress, which will take place at the Palais des Congrès from Oct. 27-30. The theme is “Cosmetic innovation and performance for beauty and well-being.”

Keynotes will include: “Learning from omics technologies and perspectives for the discovery of new skin targets and treatments,” by Dr. D. Bernard, L’Oréal R&I, France;  “Effects of Color and Luminance on Visual Perception of the Skin” by Prof. Katsunori Okajimay, Yokohama National University, Japan;  “A Beautiful Sustainable Future,” by Prof. William Russell, Columbia University, New York;  “Soft Matter models of tissue “wetting of living drops”  by Prof . Françoise Brochard, Institut Curie, France;  “Which Measurements for Beauty? What can we expect from cosmetic products?” by Prof. Philippe Humbert, University of Franche-Comté, France; and “From Emotion to Well-Being: The contribution of cognitive neurosciences and behavioral sciences to cosmetics” by Prof. Arnaud Aubert, University of Tours, France.
